Here's the 411 on vintage. For any item to qualify as vintage, it has to be at least 20 years old. Most of the items we carry are decades old. While we do carry a range of years, we mostly hold gems from the 60s to 70s. We do not sell pieces from the 2000s or also known as Y2K. Natural signs of wear and age are normal as these gems have been passed down for years. Hell, most are older than us. Believe it or not, we do a ton of repairs to take care of and give gems a little TLC so they can live a new life. While they can be a bit complex and oftentimes requires a professional seamstress, but we welcome the challenge!

All of our packaging is sustainably shipped in compostable paper boxes of envelopes. We use tissue paper to wrap goods. We try to keep our carbon footprint to a minimum over here!

Here at Mofomelon Vintage, we keep it 100 as the kids say these days. Yes, we've bought vintage online from other shops, and upon receiving and looking at our purchase, we can easily spot major imperfections that were not noted in the original product description. We personally have purchased vintage finds with plenty of imperfections and some a lil more flawed than one may like, but as long as we are well aware of what we are investing in, it's OK with us. Why that is? Because we are investing in something that most likely has lived many lives and we'd love to be a part of it's history and normal wear is what's expected. What does that mean for you? We do our best to notate the slightest detail that is a flaw, minor or somewhat noticeable. Most of the flaws we find do not take away from the overall item. However, it's important for us to be transparent and honest with what we find. Your trust is important and we want to keep it that way. In regards to color, in a lot of cases, unique colors don't translate well when photographed so we do our best to provide our customers with the closest accuracy we can. All measurements are taken flat and in regards to circumferences such as bust, waist, hips, etc. we double them. ​ Please note vintage sizing standards are totally different from today's standard sizes, so please be sure to check out the measurements for a more accurate representation of the size! We highly recommend comparing measurements against garments you currently own. Some of the pieces we discover are handmade to tailor to a person's specific body so while a bust may be narrow, the hips may vary much different than a tier that falls into a specific size. ​ Please be sure to review our model's measurements below each listing for reference.
