We are Mofomelon

Featured in Harper's Bazaar list of 32 Black-owned businesses to get your vintage fix, we are a curated vintage shop founded by textile design engineer, Annesha Watson (she/her/they). She is the founder and sole mofo in charge. She has spent 10 years and counting as a commerical / residential designer, creating custom rugs for the former FLOTUS, Jill Biden to your Average Joe. If there is one thing for certain, she loves creating things for people who want to jazz things up a bit!

If Annesha isn't designing the next coolest textile for your home or eating all the yummy vegan food she can find, she is pourin' her heart and soul into Mofomelon Vintage. "It's important that Mofomelon Vintage not only serves as a source for vintage finds but to give folks inspiration, but a trip down memory lane." There's a saying that, "In order to move forward you have to acknowledge the past" and it's important to share the art, design, and those that have paved the way for the future.  

 

We take immense pride in hunting vintage treasures and finding each baby a new home. In our closets, you will find funky bold prints, delicious colors, effortless silhouettes, and one-of-a-kind handmade pieces created with love and care. 

As the textile industry is one of the top influential contributors of pollution to our earth, we at Mofomelon Vintage believe that investing in recycled goods is a mindful, and sustainable way to reduce our carbon footprint and protect our environment one day at a time while having some fun!
